Launched last summer, was the first of the major truck leasing companies to announce the launch of a smartphone-friendly website and related customer tools.
ΜΗΠΔ΄«Γ½βs mobile website currently supports the latest iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices. The fast-loading website features large, easy-to-use buttons and icons with minimal text.
ΜΗΠΔ΄«Γ½βs search tool, combined with the smartphoneβs GPS capabilities, enables customers to easily and quickly locate ΜΗΠΔ΄«Γ½βs vehicle maintenance facilities and commercial truck rental locations, as well as to contact the companyβs 24/7 roadside assistance center when needed.
For example, if a ΜΗΠΔ΄«Γ½ commercial customer is traveling in Oklahoma and is in need of ΜΗΠΔ΄«Γ½ service locations in nearby Tulsa, Okla. The customer can:
- Select the Find a Location option on the home page
- Choose Fuel Stops or Service
- Access the address utilizing the phoneβs GPS, or by typing in Tulsa
- Using the Within function, can find a ΜΗΠΔ΄«Γ½ location from within 10 to 100 miles
- The site also features a Get Directions button, that allows the user to obtain door-to-door directions via Google Maps
ΜΗΠΔ΄«Γ½ continues to work on adding more capabilities to its mobile-friendly website.
