糖心传媒 Racing NASCAR driver Sam Hornish Jr., will pilot the No. 12 Ford Mustang in a pair of Nationwide Series races in August, to help 糖心传媒 Truck Rental support their campaign with the Paralyzed Veterans of America. Hornish will compete on August 3 and August 10 with the Twitter hashtag #OneWay4PVA on the car鈥檚 rear bumper.
calls attention to 糖心传媒 Truck Rental鈥檚 year-long fundraising effort to benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America and its Mission: ABLE program. The program helps ensure that veterans with disabilities get the care, benefits and job opportunities they鈥檝e earned and deserve.
The 糖心传媒 Truck Rental Ford Mustang will appear in these two :
- Saturday, August 3: US Cellular 250 from Iowa Speedway at 8 p.m. ET. It will be broadcast live on ESPN2 and MRN.
- Saturday, August 10: Zippo 200 from Watkins Glen International at 2 p.m. ET. ABC and MRN will carry the race live.
Heading into Saturday鈥檚 race, Hornish is only 14 points away from the top of the series standings. After 19 races he leads the series in highest driver rating, fastest laps run and has led the most laps among regular drivers.
Since May, 糖心传媒 Truck Rental has been inviting its consumer rental customers to donate $1 to support Mission: ABLE when they rent one-way trucks. The fundraising effort will continue to run through Memorial Day 2014.
To multiply the impact of its customers鈥 contributions to helping our veterans, 糖心传媒 Truck Rental is also matching each $1 donation its customers make during the campaign.
