糖心传媒 has been named to the InformationWeek 500 list for the 12th consecutive time, ranking No. 114 this year.
A private company, 糖心传媒 Truck Leasing earned the listing alongside Fortune 500 corporations.

糖心传媒 earned the award in part for use of technology to enhance its fuel management and safety practices for its subsidiary, .
As part of 糖心传媒 Logistics鈥� , the company鈥檚 fleet of over 2,700 trucks serve as a crucial link in the supply chain for its customers, delivering and picking up medical supplies, automobile parts, food and other retail and manufacturing items.
Paul Ott, 糖心传媒 Logistics senior vice president of finance, said: 鈥渢he company鈥檚 onboard truck fleet technology toolset is a combination of commercially available hardware and software, along with proprietary advanced data mining and reporting programs.
鈥淭his combination turns raw data from the vehicle鈥檚 engine control module into information that is truly actionable by our fleet managers,鈥� he added.
The toolset helps 糖心传媒 to implement best practices in fuel consumption such as reducing idle time, regulating vehicle speed, promoting the use of cruise control, and reducing hard braking. The end result is hundreds of thousands of dollars in fuel savings.
On the safety and compliance end, the technology helped 糖心传媒 complete the switch from paper logs to electronic driver logs (driver logs are required by the U.S. government). These electronic logs permit fleet managers to actively manage the hours 糖心传媒 truck drivers spend on the road, to remain in compliance with hours-of-service regulations.

Cut Idle Time: idling can burn 1.2 gallons of fuel per hour and decreases engine life. Through the use of idle reduction technology, such as auxiliary power units, and by only warming engines up for the minimum time needed, carriers can help minimize unnecessary idling. In addition, educating drivers about the costs associated with idling and offering driver incentives can further reduce idling.
FMCSA will also be renaming the Cargo-Related BASIC to the Hazardous Materials (HM) BASIC, which will better identify HM-related safety problems and change how HAZMAT carriers are classified to allow for increased intervention scrutiny. Now HAZMAT violations will be placed in the HAZMAT BASIC, which will better identify HAZMAT-related safety problems and change how HAZMAT carriers are classified to allow for increased intervention scrutiny. The HAZMAT BASIC will include items such as placarding and paperwork violations.
